Nestled in the green hills of Castlereagh, Dundonald Touring Park offers a calm and peaceful location for caravaners and campers.  The site is located 5 miles from Belfast, providing visitors with the ideal base for exploring the city and the scenic County Down coast.

The campsite is open from mid March to 2nd November and an Aire de Service facility is available throughout the winter months from November to Late February.


Dundonald Touring Caravan Park is situated in a quiet corner of Dundonald Leisure Park and is recommended by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and AA.  On site facilities include:

  • 22 pitch site for caravans and tents
  • Electric, water and waste hook up
  • Hot showers
  • Infant changing facilities
  • Disabled facilities
  • Laundry room
  • Indoor dishwashing facilities
  • Phone
  • Local supermarkets, shops, banks, restaurants and medical facilities are all situated in the village of Dundonald, only 1km from the leisure park

On-Site Activities

Adjacent to the campsite lies Dundonald International Ice Bowl which offers a host of fun activities;

  • Olympic size ice rink
  • Tenpin bolwing centre
  • Indiana Land adventure playworld
  • Alaska Sports Diner

Also neighbouring the site is an 8-screen cinema, American adventure golf,  indoor laser combat and a number of licensed restaurants.

Dundonald Touring Caravan Park becomes an Aire de Service site as of 1st November 2013 to 13th March 2015. 


Full Service Site - 13th March - 2nd November 2015

Aire de Service - Available 3rd November 2015 to 11th March 2016.

Caravan/Motorhome from 8.50 per night.

First Day Arrival - Pitches accessible from 2pm.

4 Person tent from 15.50 per night

Caravan/Motorhome from 23.50 per night.

A minimum of 7 days written notice (letter or email), in advance of arrival date will be required from anyone wishing to cancel their booking.  If more than 7 days notice is given the booking maybe re-arranged to another available date within the season or alternatively a refund can be given. 

Cancellations within 7 days of customers arrival date will not be transferable or refunded unless in exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or family bereavemnet. (Appropriate documnetation e.g. a medical note must be forwaded in order to process the refund).

Customers are advised to have insurance cover in the event of cancellation.

Refunds cannot be made for any amendements made to the booking on arrival or during stay.
