Vitality Gym at Billy Neill

VISITOR ADVICE –VITALITY GYM AT BILLY NEILL MBE COUNTRY PARK

Below is a guide to help keep both our customers and staff safe:

  • The brand new Vitality gym at Billy Neill MBE Country Park is open to Vitality members only at this time, and will open shortly to casual non-members. Opening times can be found here.
  • To meet government guidelines for gathering limits and social distancing, pre-booking for all gym sessions is essential.  Members can book online up to 7 days in advance. Walk-ins will not be permitted and members will be declined entry without a prior booking.
  • Members are reminded of the Penalty Strike System which applies to all gym and studio class bookings.
  • Customers must use the hygiene stations throughout the centre and adhere to the social distancing rules and the one way system in operation throughout the centres and gym.
  • Customers will be asked to sanitise their hands when entering the Pavilion at Billy Neill MBE Country Park and again before entering the Vitality gym.
  • Customers will be provided with antibacterial spray and roll on arrival and are asked to clean down all machines and equipment before use and after use.
  • To meet government guidelines for gathering limits and social distancing, gym sessions are restricted to 10 people per session.
  • Cleaning intervals will take place after each gym session, where the gym will close, allowing staff to clean the gym equipment.
  • Customers are reminded that an induction is required before any member can use a Vitality gym.  This includes members who may have completed a gym induction previously in Pulse gym at Lough Moss Leisure Centre. Members who have completed an induction at Vitality gyms in Lagan Valley LeisurePlex/ Glenmore Activity Centre/ Grove Activity Centre or Kilmakee Activity Centre do not require a further induction at Billy Neill MBE Country Park.  Inductions can be booked here and are free of charge.
  • Very limited changing and showering facilities will be in operation and due to social distancing, access will be permitted on a first come, first served basis.  Members are strongly advised to arrive at the centre prepared to start their workout.  Changing facilities may be out of use on Saturdays during soccer season.
  • Customers are reminded not travel to centres if they or anyone in their household have Covid-19 symptoms.  If a customer feels unwell during their visit, they are advised to speak to the Duty Manager on site.

We look forward to welcoming you to our new gym and we thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we all adapt to new ways of operating.
