Site Rules

Terms and Conditions

   

·        All visitors must check-in at the Main Reception of Dundonald International Ice Bowl and complete the relevant registration form. Valid photographic identification will be required.

·        It must be clearly understood that acceptance of your booking in not conditional on the allocation of a particular pitch. Whilst we will endeavour to locate family and friends together we cannot guarantee that this will be possible and caravans will be sited beside each other. Your pitch number and directions to it will be provided on arrival.

·        Reception is open from 09.15 hours to 22.00 hours daily for laundry token purchase and return of key deposits. Collection and return of park entrance keys should be made during these hours.

·        Early departures – on arrangement with reception, key deposits will be returned the previous evening prior to 22.00 hours.

·        Arrivals between 22.00 and 23.59 hours by prior arrangement. Please telephone in advance for this service +44(0)2890809101.

·         Commercial vehicles and vans towing caravans are not permitted onto the site even to provide a drop off or collection of caravan service. Due to limited parking, only one car per pitch is permitted. Overnight parking/camping outside the gates of the caravan park is not permitted.

·         Residency cards must be clearly displayed on the caravan or pegged to the tent at all times.

·         Tents must be pitched in the clearly sign posted allocated area. Tents found pitched outside of the designated areas will be required to relocate to the correct area.

·         All hardstands are the same size and width and are clearly marked. Please only locate on the pitch allocated to you otherwise you will be required to move.

·         Aire Parking providing electric hook-up and chemical waste disposal only operates from November through to March. Outside of these times the park operates as a full service site and the appropriate rates are charged. Grey waste can be disposed of directly at the pitch via piping available from warden. Waste water must not be allowed to overflow onto hardstands or grassed areas.

·         Dogs are welcome onto the site. At all times in the park, dogs must be kept on a leash and under the control of the owner.  They must not be allowed to foul any area of the park.  It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure they clean up after their dogs. Dog faeces must be wrapped in suitable plastic bag and disposed off in the waste bin.

·        Fires must not be lit on the site and all barbecues must be raised sufficiently off the ground to minimise the risk of fire and to avoid damage to grassed/concrete areas.

·        The site should be vacated no later than 12 noon on the day of departure otherwise an additional night’s pitch fee may be charged.

·         A maximum stay of 7 nights in a season applies. Applications for an extension to a maximum of 14 nights can be made by arrangement to the Operations Manager

·         Where a booking is not taken up by 20.00 hours on the day of arrival, we will consider the booking cancelled unless prior arrangement has been made.

Fiday 1st June to Tuesday 5th June

Monday 9th July to Sunday 15th July

Friday 24th August to Monday 27th August

Cancellation/Amendments

A minimum of 7 days written notice (letter or email), in advance of arrival date will be required from anyone wishing to cancel their booking.  If more than 7 days notice is given the booking maybe re-arranged to another available date within the season or alternatively a refund can be given. 

Cancellations within 7 days of customers arrival date will not be transferable or refunded unless in exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or family bereavemnet. (Appropriate documnetation e.g. a medical note must be forwaded in order to process the refund).

Customers are advised to have insurance cover in the event of cancellation.

Refunds cannot be made for any amendements made to the booking on arrival or during stay.
